CLIMATE CHANGE IS NOT FUNNY (BUT IT SHOULD BE)
Communication strategies for sustainability projects - how to succeed with humour. José Manuel Linares Felipe, architect, Bologna. Technically effective ideas that drift away without being understood by the market, great initiatives that do not even get started because of a prejudice-soaked public opinion... Ecology and sustainability are now widely accepted values, but the road that led us to this point is marked by a long series of topics which can prove highly detrimental. Analysing the way in which you communicate your projects from the unusual point of view of comedy will give you a few practical hints on how to avoid these traps. We will also find out how humour may prove to be the best strategy in the fight for a more sustainable world. And, why not, we will share a good laugh or two along the way. José Manuel Linares Felipe received his architect’s degree at his hometown’s University of Granada. He has 20 years of professional experience both in Spain and Italy where he currently lives and works. Energy Efficiency Consultant by the Klimahaus Agency in 2010, he has collaborated since 2012 with the European organization Climate-KIC in projects against climate change, for which he has developed his communication skills. |
