The International Society of City and Regional Planners is a global association of experienced professional planners from more than 80 countries worldwide. As a non-governmental organisation ISOCARP is recognized by the UN, UNHCS and the Council of Europe, and has a formal consultative status with UNESCO. The objectives of ISOCARP include the improvement of planning practice through the creation of a global and active network of practitioners.

The LIFE programme is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment. The general objective of LIFE is to contribute to the implementation, updating and development of EU environmental policy and legislation by co-financing pilot or demonstration projects with European added value.

ClimAdaPT.Local project is aligned with the main aims of the European Strategy for Adaptaion to Climate Change and the National Strategy for Adaptation to Climate Change (ENAAC). It is demostrating that the European Economic Area Grants (EEA Grants) and the Portuguese Carbon Fund (FPC) are effectively promoting adaptation at loval level in Portugal. More info on its website.

International Chair for Lime was created in 2015with the objective of promoting teaching activities and interdisciplinary research to study the reality, problems and prospects of the use of lime in construction. It is also responsible for developing a program of research and practical teaching which contributes to improving the students' knowledge on this matter.
